Full course description
This course provides an in-depth study of turfgrass maintenance practices and their interrelationships, demonstrating how these practices can be integrated to develop effective management systems. Students will learn about the creation of environmental conditions that favor the competitive nature of desired turfgrass species, covering topics such as cool-season grass establishment, pesticide use, fertilization programs, plant growth stages, plant competition, plant growth regulators, and interpreting scientific research reports.
