Full course description
This course covers the basics of sport marketing to provide students with the foundational knowledge of the competitive world of sport. Just as athletes compete on the playing field, sport marketing professionals compete in the marketplace. This course presents an overview of the various techniques and strategies used in meeting the wants and needs of consumers in the sport industry. Students will learn the fundamentals, research methods, and new developments in the field of sport marketing.
