Full course description
Metabolic specificity of exercise and training is based on an understanding of the production and use of energy in biological systems. Efficient and effective training programs can be designed through an understanding of how energy is produced for specific types of exercise and how energy production can be modified by specific training regimens.
This course presents the knowledge along with helping you understand how the energy systems may be manipulated with resistance training to enhance the development of various target tissues and improvement of performance.
